The Mantra Nora 8284 is three glass shades shaped as elongated bells, hung on black cables from a shared round ceiling rose 53.4 cm across. The glass carries a mirrored chrome finish fading to clear towards the bottom, so switched off the lamp reads as three metal volumes, and switched on it shows the filament through the lightened lower part of each shade.Three shades at different heightsThe cables are 2 metres each and can be shortened independently, so the shades can hang in a cascade or on one line. Maximum height for the whole set is 230 cm from the ceiling — headroom intended for tall interiors and stairwells; in an ordinary room most of the cable gets shortened. That adjustment is the main installation decision with this lamp: over a round table the shades usually hang level, in a stairwell or above an island they are staggered.Three E27 sockets, lamps separateThe fitting takes three E27 lamps of up to 60 W each and ships without bulbs.
