Three smoked-glass shades on a rotating bar MADEE is a spotlight bar: a black rectangular beam 38 cm long carrying three rounded shades of smoked glass, each on its own joint. Pairing cold metal with warm, smoky glass is the central idea of the design — lit, the glass filters the output to a soft amber and lets you see the lamp itself instead of hiding it. Rotation and tilt through a full 360° The most practical feature of this fitting: each of the three shades rotates and tilts through 360°. That changes how it is used — one bar can be set so two heads fall on the kitchen worktop and the third on a picture wall, or all three can be aimed one way to light a bookcase directionally. The manufacturer notes at the same time that the light emerges around and diffused — smoked glass does not produce the hard cone of a technical spotlight. Size and proportion The bar measures 38 × 9 cm and the whole thing stands 18 cm off the ceiling — the height is fixed and the structure cannot be shortened or extended. A single shade is 9.5 × 9.5 × 5 cm. A 38 × 9 × 2 cm mounting plate covers the back box and is supplied along with the installation materials. The whole fitting weighs only 0.8 kg. Three E14 sockets, and dimming Sockets 3 × E14, up to 25 W each, supply 230 V. No bulbs are included. The fitting is dimmable — the manufacturer confirms it for both the fitting and the light source, so a dimmable E14 lamp plus a wall dimmer (not included) is all it takes. With smoked glass a decorative lamp is worth the trouble: Lucide recommends P45 49046/03/62 for this model — a round LED filament lamp Ø 4.5 cm, E14, 3 W, 2200 K in amber glass, dimmable. It plays to the smoked shade; a frosted bulb would flatten the whole effect. Installation and finish The fitting has no cable and no plug — it wires permanently into the ceiling and is operated from an ordinary wall switch. Built to Class I, it requires an earth conductor.
