An aluminium end cap for the LUMINES INSO LED profile in silver, in the version without a hole (12-0125-11). The cap closes the cut end of the extrusion – without it you see the bare aluminium section, the strip channel and the edge of the cover. Which version goes on which end A single run of profile normally takes two end caps, but not two of the same. This one is the no-hole version and closes the blind end. At the other end, where the supply cable leaves the profile, you need the with-hole version – for INSO in silver that is code 12-0000-13. The cap itself is universal: it fits either the left or the right end. Aluminium, not plastic LUMINES offers INSO end caps in two materials. This one is aluminium – it matches an anodised extrusion in both look and thermal behaviour, does not yellow, and does not deform next to a high-output strip that runs warm. The cheaper plastic equivalent carries different codes (including lacquered ABS 12-0125-01) and reflects light differently from aluminium. Fixing This cap is screwed on with four screws rather than pushed on. That is the more secure arrangement – it will not drop out during a ceiling installation or under tension from the cover – but it does need screwdriver access to the end of the profile and tightening after the cover is in. What it fits The LUMINES INSO profile only. End caps are not interchangeable between systems – each profile (A, C, D, CLARO, INSO…) has its own end geometry and its own cap codes.
