Gea Luce GFA1380 adjustable recessed spotlight, white, GU10

Name: Gea Luce GFA1380 adjustable recessed spotlight, white, GU10
Brand: Gea Luce

Gea Luce GFA1380 is a white recessed spotlight with a movable cylindrical head for one GU10 light source. Its aluminium structure combines a round ceiling trim with a tube that projects below the ceiling surface. Unlike a flat recessed downlight, it leaves the aiming head visibly exposed after installation, rather than showing only the edge of the ceiling opening.Adjust the direction from a fixed positionThe head rotates through 350° and tilts from 0 to 30°. This lets you change the direction of illumination without relocating the mounting point. It does not provide unlimited rotation or a horizontal aiming position, so allow for those boundaries when planning the locations of the ceiling openings. In a living room, hallway, walk-in wardrobe or shop, the adjustable head can direct light towards a chosen part of the interior. The width of the resulting beam also depends on the GU10 source fitted inside. Positioning and lamp selection should therefore be considered together, rather than assuming that the adjustment mechanism determines the complete lighting effect.Plan the opening and the projecting tubeThe manufacturer's drawing specifies a 103 mm cut-out, a 112 mm outer trim diameter and a total height of 119 mm. The cylindrical head measures 57 mm in diameter. Compare these dimensions with your ceiling design before making an opening. Total height is not the same as the free installation space required above the ceiling. The white finish, circular trim and plain tubular head give the fitting a modern, minimalist character. The projecting head remains part of the ceiling's appearance, especially when tilted away from its straight-down position.Choose the GU10 source for the intended resultGFA1380 takes one GU10 source rated at no more than 35 W and operates on 220–240 V AC. When choosing a compatible lamp, check its colour temperature, light output and beam angle: the housing itself does not fix those characteristics. For general room lighting, the number and spacing of fittings should follow the selected lamps' performance and the size of the space.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
