Winslow KL-WINSLOW3-NBR Elstead chandelier natural brass 3×E27 Ø45.8 cm seeded glass

Name: Winslow KL-WINSLOW3-NBR Elstead chandelier natural brass 3×E27 Ø45.8 cm seeded glass
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Winslow is a three-arm chandelier from Kichler, distributed in Europe by Elstead Lighting. Three horizontal arms leave a steel body finished in natural brass, and each carries a cylindrical shade of clear seeded glass. The whole measures 45.8 cm across and hangs on a chain.Shades open at the topThe glass cylinders face upward — they do not close the light beneath them but release it towards the ceiling and sideways through their clear walls. That changes what the fitting is for: Winslow is not a lamp for lighting a specific surface, but a source of general light that bounces off the ceiling and spreads through the room. Over a dining table it gives even, open light rather than a defined circle on the cloth.Clear glass means the bulb is on showThe glass is colourless, not opal, so the bulb stays fully visible — and becomes part of how the lamp looks. That is the key decision with this model: an ordinary frosted pear-shaped LED will spoil the effect, while a decorative filament lamp (ST64, G95 or a plain tube) completes it. The bubbles in the glass are deliberate — they refract the filament's light and break it into small glints, which an opal shade never does.Three E27 sockets, up to 60 W eachThe fitting has three E27 sockets and comes without bulbs. The 60 W per lamp figure is a socket limit, not the luminaire's power — with LED sources the real draw is around 3 × 6–9 W, and total output depends entirely on what you fit. The manufacturer states the fitting is compatible with dimmable lamps: it has no dimming circuit of its own, so control needs both dimmable bulbs and a dimmer on the wall.Adjusting the drop91.4 cm of chain is supplied, giving a drop range of 48.9 to 140.3 cm measured from ceiling to the bottom of the fitting. Adjustment means removing surplus links, so it is reversible — unlike fittings on a cut-to-length cable. With a standard 2.6 m ceiling and a table at 75 cm, the top of the range puts the shades roughly at the eye level of someone standing, and the bottom leaves them high above the table; it is worth doing that arithmetic before installing.Installation and buildThe body is steel, finished in natural brass — a warm, slightly muted gold that sits well beside timber and white. The ceiling pan is 12.1 cm across and 2.5 cm high, covering a standard back box. The fitting is protection class I and requires an earth conductor. It weighs 2.37 kg. Intended for dry interiors only. The manufacturer covers it with a 2-year guarantee.SpecificationsProduct code: KL-WINSLOW3-NBREAN: 5024005003359Brand: Kichler (distributed by Elstead Lighting)Family: WinslowType: chain-hung chandelierSocket: E27Light points: 3Max lamp power: 60 W per lampLight source: not included, replaceableIntegrated LED: noDimming: possible with dimmable lampsSupply: 220–240 V, 50 HzProtection class: ILocation: interiorDiameter: 45.8 cmFitting height: 38.9 cmDrop range: 48.9–140.3 cmChain: 91.4 cmCeiling pan diameter: 12.1 cmCeiling pan height: 2.5 cmMaterials: steel, clear seeded glassFinish: natural brassNet weight: 2.37 kgGross weight: 3.22 kgGuarantee: 2 yearsΕμφάνιση περισσότερων
