Mantra CAYMAN 6081 satin nickel LED reading wall light 3+6 W 3000 K

Name: Mantra CAYMAN 6081 satin nickel LED reading wall light 3+6 W 3000 K
Brand: Mantra

Mantra CAYMAN 6081 combines a cylindrical reading head with a circular wall plate. Its satin nickel finish reveals a brushed metal surface, with black switches contrasting against the pale plate. The manufacturer specifies iron and aluminium for the construction, rather than an entirely aluminium body.A reading light with a second light zoneThe projecting head provides the reading-light function, while light behind the round plate illuminates the adjacent wall. Photographs of this exact nickel variant show both effects. These are not two identical spotlights: the arrangement pairs a forward light point with indirect illumination around the base. It is a relevant option beside a bed or reading chair when a table lamp would take up space on the nearby surface. The integrated LEDs are rated at 3+6 W and have a colour temperature of 3000 K, giving warm white light. Mantra specifies a luminous flux of 620 lm. That figure does not state the illuminance reaching a book or guarantee that the fixture will light an entire room. The light is not dimmable, so it should not be selected on the assumption that an external dimmer will adjust its brightness.A 15 cm plate with an 11 cm projectionThe circular plate measures 15 cm in diameter, and the technical drawing gives an overall projection of 11 cm from the wall. Compare these dimensions with the headboard, the edge of the bedside table and the space around a reading chair before deciding on the mounting position. The fitting leaves the tabletop free, but its head still occupies space in front of the wall. A small plate does not automatically make it suitable for a narrow passage.Controls within reachOn/off controls are built into the front of the base. Position the fitting so that the person using the reading light can reach them. CAYMAN operates on 220–240 V and includes its LED light source; it is not a fitting for a separately purchased screw-in bulb. Its circle-and-cylinder composition suits modern, minimalist interiors. The reading function supports use in bedrooms, living rooms and studies, including beside a hotel-room bed.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
