Tiber Pendant Light - 1 Light - Polished Nickel, Clear Glass Elstead

Name: Tiber Pendant Light - 1 Light - Polished Nickel, Clear Glass Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Tiber is a pendant light from Elstead Lighting's own line, made in England. The shade of clear mouth-blown glass has a tulip shape with twisted, faceted walls, and the ceiling canopy and lampholder cover are finished in polished nickel. In the maker's photos the light hangs from a grey twisted fabric-covered cord. Size and hanging height The shade is 17.5 cm in diameter and the fitting itself 23.7 cm high, a compact light that the maker intends both singly and in groups or rows. The cord is 219.2 cm long and the overall drop can be set from 33.7 to 219.2 cm; the height is fixed during installation by shortening the cord. Over a table, the lower edge of the shade usually hangs 70–80 cm above the top, and under a high ceiling the full cord length lets the light come down low. The light weighs 2.16 kg and is for indoor use. It is Class I, so it must be connected to the earth conductor in the ceiling box. What light it gives Inside is a single E27 lampholder for a bulb of up to 60 W. The bulb is not included. The glass is clear, so the bulb stays plainly visible and the twisted walls of the shade refract its light; it is worth choosing the bulb for its looks too, for example a decorative bulb with a visible filament. The light is compatible with dimmable bulbs where a dimmer is fitted in the circuit. Where it fits The maker suggests hanging two or three Tiber pendants in a row over a kitchen island, or hanging them over the bedside tables in a bedroom, where they replace bedside lamps and keep the tabletop free. A single pendant also suits a dining table. The Tiber series also comes in brushed brass with amber glass.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
