Talland bathroom wall light - 1 light source - Polished Chrome Elstead

Name: Talland bathroom wall light - 1 light source - Polished Chrome Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Talland is a single-light bathroom wall light by Kichler, distributed by Elstead Lighting, finished in polished chrome. Its thick, ribbed glass shade is shaped after the glass insulators on telegraph poles of the early and mid-20th century, with a fine beaded pattern around the lower rim. The shade is held by a squared-off arm rising from a round wall plate. Size and where to mount it The wall light is 16.3 cm high and 12.7 cm wide and projects 17.5 cm from the wall; the round mounting plate is 12.7 cm across. It weighs 1.26 kg. IP44 means protection against splashing water from any direction, which is why the manufacturer specifies it for interiors including the bathroom. It is protection class I, so it must be connected to a protective earth conductor. Light source included The fitting has a G9 socket, and a 3 W G9 LED capsule comes in the box, so there is nothing else to buy. It gives 300 lm, which the manufacturer equates to a 28 W traditional bulb: enough for light at a mirror or as supplementary lighting, but not a replacement for a main ceiling light. 3000 K is a warm white, and CRI 80 means standard colour rendering. The manufacturer rates the capsule at 25,000 hours, about 23 years at three hours a day. When it wears out, you replace just the G9 capsule rather than the whole fitting. The wall light works with dimmable lamps: dimming needs a dimmer in the wiring and a G9 capsule marked as dimmable. Style and range The manufacturer describes Talland as vintage styling with a delicate, feminine form, visible in the softly rippled glass and the bright chrome. The wall light is intended for the bathroom and the dining room. The range also has two-, three- and four-shade versions in the same finish, so a wider fitting can be chosen above a longer mirror.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
