Swell 1 Light Bathroom Wall Light - Polished Chrome Elstead

Name: Swell 1 Light Bathroom Wall Light - Polished Chrome Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Swell is a bathroom wall light from Quoizel, distributed by Elstead Lighting. A curved arm rises from a round wall plate and ends in a lampholder carrying a shade of frosted, ribbed glass. The steel parts are finished in polished chrome, and the manufacturer describes the form as an American classic. Dimensions and where to fit it The light is 23.7 cm high, 12.7 cm wide and projects 17.1 cm from the wall; the round wall plate is 12.7 cm across. It is a small fitting, so compare it with the width of the mirror or cabinet — a longer mirror usually takes two lights, one on each side. It weighs 1.1 kg. IP44 means protection against splashing water from any direction, which is why the manufacturer allows it in a bathroom, for example beside the mirror above the basin. It is Class I, which means it must be connected to an earth conductor. Light source The light has a G9 socket, and a 3 W G9 LED bulb is included. It gives 300 lm at 3000 K, a warm white — brightness comparable to a traditional bulb of about 28 W, enough to light a face at the mirror but not the whole bathroom. A CRI of 80 is typical for home lighting. The manufacturer gives the bulb a life of 25,000 hours, which at three hours a day is about 22 years. The bulb can be replaced, as it sits in a standard G9 socket. The light is compatible with dimmable sources — dimming needs a dimmable G9 bulb and a dimmer in the circuit. Style and use Swell has a classic character: a curved arm, a turned lampholder and ribbed glass set against shiny chrome. It suits bathrooms and dining rooms. The series also includes a brushed brass version (QZ-SWELL1-BB-BATH).Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
