Plantation small wall lantern - 1 light source - Burnished Bronze Elstead

Name: Plantation small wall lantern - 1 light source - Burnished Bronze Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Plantation is a small outdoor wall lantern by Hinkley, distributed by Elstead Lighting. The clear optic glass shade is shaped like a pineapple with a pressed diamond lattice, and the cast aluminium frame in a burnished bronze finish completes it with a crown of leaves on top and a leafy finial below. The lantern hangs from an arm on a back plate embossed with a lattice pattern.Size and wall mountingThe lantern is 35.6 cm high and 15.2 cm wide, and projects 17.3 cm from the wall. These are the figures to compare with the space beside your door — between the door frame and a downpipe or letterbox. It weighs 1.65 kg.The fitting is rated IP44, which means it is protected against splashing water from any direction and can be mounted on an exterior wall. The back plate is flat, so for corner mounting the manufacturer offers the separately sold corner brackets C-BKT2-BROWN and C-BKT2-BLACK. It is protection class I, so it must be connected to the protective earth.Bulb and lightThe lantern takes one E27 bulb of up to 40 W. The bulb is not included. The glass is clear, so the bulb stays visible and the diamond facets break its light into many reflections — a bulb with a visible filament works well here. As a matching accessory the manufacturer names the clear, dimmable Litec E27 A60 LED bulb, sold separately. The fitting works with dimmable bulbs: to adjust the brightness you need a dimmer and a bulb marked as dimmable.StylePlantation is a Hinkley classic: an ornate form built around the pineapple motif, cast detailing and a warm metallic bronze with lighter highlights on the raised edges. It is designed for facades and outdoor lighting. The Plantation family also offers the same small lantern in Museum Black.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
