PICO LE41456 is a square ceiling light 56 cm on a side and only 8.5 cm deep, in gold with an uneven texture. The integrated LED gives 2650 lumens at 42 W, at a warm 3000 K. Gold with an uneven texture The finish is not smooth mirror gold. The surface has a broken, lively texture that reacts differently to light: instead of one sharp reflection it gives a muted, shifting sheen that moves with the viewing angle. In practice that means a fitting that does not shout gold. In daylight it reads as a warm, matt-metallic rectangle; in the evening, lit, the texture disappears into the glow and only the luminous plane is visible. It is also a forgiving finish – fingerprints and dust show far less than on polished metal. 2650 lumens from a flat plane 2650 lm is general-lighting level for a room of roughly 13–18 m² – a bedroom, a study, a smaller living room or a hallway with a landing. What matters, though, is where those lumens come from. The large acrylic plane, 56 cm on a side, glows across its whole surface, so the light is soft, with diffuse shadows. The same lumen count from a spotlight gives hard shadows and noticeable glare; here the flux spreads over more than 0.3 m² of luminous area. 3000 K is warm – it sits well with the gold finish, which under cool light would read greenish. 8.5 cm – low overhead A depth of 8.5 cm puts PICO in the category of fittings for rooms of standard height. It does not hang and stays out of the eyeline; with a 250 cm ceiling the full usable height remains. That counts in a bedroom above the bed or in a hallway, where a drop is a nuisance. The square 56 × 56 cm outline sits well in a rectangular room – unlike a round fitting, PICO follows the geometry of the space. Aluminium and acrylic The construction combines an aluminium frame with an acrylic diffuser. Aluminium carries heat away from the LED module – at 42 W in a shallow housing that is a real job, not a claim. Acrylic diffuses light evenly and is lighter and more impact-resistant than glass, which matters at 56 cm across when installing. The LED is permanently built in – there is no lamp to change. At 56 × 56 cm it is worth checking the spacing of the fixing points against the existing box before the fitting goes up.
