Maryville chandelier - 3 light sources - Washed Grey Elstead

Name: Maryville chandelier - 3 light sources - Washed Grey Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Maryville is a three-arm chandelier by Feiss (Generation Lighting), distributed by Elstead Lighting. A steel frame with gently curved arms ends in three candle-sleeve lampholders, each set in a flower-shaped bobeche. Strands of wooden beads drape from the crown to the arms, and everything – metal and wood alike – carries one finish: a distressed Washed Grey. Size and hanging height The chandelier is 48.3 cm across and the fitting itself is 49.8 cm tall. Compare that diameter with the width of the table or hallway it will hang over – the beaded arms define the full outline of the lamp and cannot be folded in towards the centre. It hangs from a 152.4 cm chain that is shortened during installation. The overall drop, measured from the ceiling, ranges from 59.4 to 216 cm, so the same fitting works in a room of standard height and under a high ceiling. Over a dining table the lower edge usually sits 70–80 cm above the tabletop. The chandelier weighs 2.61 kg. Light sources and connection Three E14 lampholders each take a bulb of up to 60 W. Bulbs are not included. The chandelier has no shades or glass, so the bulbs stay on show – the manufacturer's photos use flame-shaped candle bulbs, which complete the candelabra look of the fitting. The manufacturer describes the chandelier as compatible with dimmable lamps: dimming needs such bulbs and a dimmer in the wiring. The fitting is protection class I, so it must be connected to an earth conductor, and it is intended for indoor use. Style and where it belongs Feiss places Maryville in the French Country style. The wooden beads, the flower-shaped bobeches under the candles and the matt, rubbed finish – with a lighter base coat showing through on the edges – give it a Provençal, rustic character. The chandelier is intended for dining rooms, over a table, for hallways and for hotel interiors.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
