LED profile LUMINES type I10 silver anodized 1 m

Name: LED profile LUMINES type I10 silver anodized 1 m
Brand: Lumines

I10 is a surface-mounted glazing profile in silver anodised aluminium, supplied here as a 1 m length. The section measures 18.8 mm wide and 31 mm high, and an 11 mm slot runs along the top to take a glass or acrylic panel. The LED strip sits in the lower channel and lights the edge of that panel. How much the fitted panel will carry The manufacturer documents two load-bearing builds. As a shelf: profile, rubber gasket and end caps with a support. The permitted load per cap then depends on shelf depth and comes to 3.63 kg at 10 cm, 2.64 kg at 15 cm and 1 kg at 20 cm, with a recommended shelf length of up to 2 m. The figures are calculated with the weight of the glass or acrylic panel itself included. As an information board: profile, FARI mounting profile, double-sided mounting tape and end caps without a support. For that build the manufacturer states a capacity of up to 50 kg per running metre of profile, using tape rated at 100 kg/m². Caps with and without a support are two different articles, so the order is fixed: choose the build first, then order the caps. What has to be bought alongside The profile is sold bare: no LED strip, no end caps and no rubber gasket, each a separate article from the same system. The channel takes strip up to 10 mm wide. End caps come in left and right versions, so closing one length calls for two different pieces. The manufacturer places the driver outside the profile, as there is no room for it inside. The highest light-source power the profile will dissipate is 21 W at a profile temperature of 55 °C and 26.6 W at 65 °C. That is the ceiling for choosing a strip, not power the profile itself draws. Mounting and working conditions The profile is fixed with screws, with double-sided tape or on suspension wires, on a surface, along an edge or as a hanging element. Lengths cannot be joined into a single run, so a longer installation means ordering a custom length, which the manufacturer makes up to 6 m. The profile is not sealable, so it stays at IP20 and suits dry interiors only. It is not rated to be walked or driven over either, so it must not be set into a floor.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
