LUMINES GAUDI recessed LED profile, unfinished aluminium, 2020 mm

Name: LUMINES GAUDI recessed LED profile, unfinished aluminium, 2020 mm
Brand: Lumines

LUMINES GAUDI 10-0980-20 is a recessed, unfinished aluminium profile for creating a light line within plasterboard walls or ceilings. Perforated mounting wings extend along both sides of the LED-strip channel and are incorporated into the surrounding surface. This version is 2020 mm long; 2 m is its nominal trade designation rather than the precise supplied length.Allow for the full sectionThe overall section is 41.8 mm wide and 14.6 mm high. Planning the installation therefore involves more than the narrow light channel: the side wings also need to be accommodated in the plasterboard finish. GAUDI is designed for one LED strip up to 12 mm wide, giving you a specific compatibility check before choosing the remaining system components. The profile is recessed between boards and finished with joint compound. The manufacturer's product card identifies screws or joint compound as fixing methods, while the installation diagram also shows reinforcing mesh and the final paint layer. The junction with the boards should be considered while designing the wall or ceiling, rather than after its surfaces have already been finished.GAUDI and compatible BASIC partsThe manufacturer lists BASIC diffusers, matching end caps and a BASIC plastering cover for this system. Diffusers come in different material and optical versions, so choosing the aluminium profile does not by itself determine the finished line's appearance. Select the LED strip, diffuser and end pieces as compatible components. The power supply is positioned outside the profile rather than inside its channel.A light line integrated into the surfaceOnce the wings are incorporated into the plasterboard finish, the diffuser line remains visible instead of a broad strip of unfinished aluminium. This restrained arrangement suits modern and minimalist wall and ceiling designs. LUMINES specifies decorative or main lighting as uses for GAUDI. Actual light output, colour and control depend on the selected LED components, not on the profile alone.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
