KOSTER Pro 1815AL is a pole-top luminaire: a domed shade 24.5 cm across on a straight arm that slips onto a ø50 mm pole spigot to a depth of 80 mm. The whole thing measures 45 × 24.5 × 24.5 cm and weighs 2.6 kg. The AL version is aluminium RAL 9006 — a light silvery grey; the same model in graphite RAL 7016 carries the index 1815GR.The pole and the fixings are bought separatelyThis is the luminaire on its own. The pole, the adapter and the ground anchor are not included — Norlys states so explicitly on the product card. Check before ordering that your pole has a 50 mm spigot; the fitting will not go onto a thicker one. A 3.6 m H05VV-F 2×1 mm² cable leaves the arm and is connected inside the pole, in a properly chosen installation box.How much light it gives, and where it goesThe LED module draws 15.4 W and the complete luminaire 16.9 W, delivering 2007 lumens — that is the luminaire flux, already net of losses at the lens (the module alone produces 2595 lm). Efficacy is 118.8 lm/W, very high for a garden lantern. Distribution comes from a Ledil VSM lens classified as IESNA type V: the light spreads wide and evenly in every direction around the pole rather than forming one bright pool underneath. The colour is warm white 3000 K, CRI 70, with colour consistency quoted as SDCM5.No light thrown upwardULOR is 0% — the dome is solid on top, so none of the output escapes to the sky. In practice that means less light pollution over the plot and no glow visible from first-floor windows. The luminaire's BUG classification is B1-U1-G1.Dims from an ordinary dimmerThe fitting supports TRIAC phase dimming on both the trailing edge (TE) and the leading edge (LE). In outdoor lighting that is an unusual convenience: an ordinary wall dimmer is enough, with no DALI controller and no extra wiring. To order, Norlys builds the same model as a DALI, 1–10 V or autonomous NightDim version, with a surge protection device (SPD), in 2200 K or 2700 K, and in any RAL colour.Built for years in the openThe body is powder-coated cast aluminium, the lens transparent structured polycarbonate that is UV stabilised, and the joint is sealed with a silicone gasket. IP65 means fully dust-tight and resistant to water jets, and IK10 is the highest impact rating in the standard — 20 joules, i.e. a fitting for a pavement or a playground. Protection class II (double insulated) means no earth conductor is required, which is why the cable has two cores. The operating range is −20…+45 °C.Serviced rather than replacedNorlys declares a service life of over 100,000 hours to L90B10 (90% of flux retained, with under 10% of samples falling below that) — roughly 91 years at three hours a day. More usefully, both the LED module and the driver are replaceable by a professional and carry their own order codes (4699100415 and 469996500, service set ZS1815zx0010).
