LEX BLACK is three open black wire shades hung at different lengths beneath a single round 32 cm canopy. The shades hide nothing — their job is to draw a shape around the bulb rather than conceal it, so the lamp sketches a geometric pattern in the air and throws a distinctive shadow onto the ceiling. Where it works Three light points gathered in one place give enough light over a table, a kitchen island or a counter, and staggering the shades at different lengths fills the space better than a single fitting would. The style is firmly industrial and loft, but black metal is neutral enough to sit just as well in a modern dining room or a teenager's room. Build and installation Frame and shades are metal in a black finish. The drop reaches 120 cm and is shortened during installation to suit the ceiling height.
