Glassfiber Filter - without Binder Recommended for controlling air and water pollution. Made of 100% borosilicate glass fibers. Glass fiber filters retain fine particles up to 1 μm in size from liquids and from air and gases, even aerosols with 0.3 - 0.5 μm are retained. The large surface area (approx. 2 m²/g) ensures an extraordinary absorption capacity. Extremely low metal content. Chemical stability: retains all properties when in contact with acid solutions (except hydrofluoric acid) and/or alkaline solutions at moderate concentrations. Stability at high temperatures: retains all properties up to 500 ºC. High flow rate and high air permeability.
