GKI421P ceiling canopy mounting kit for GPL421 and GPL431 luminaires Gea Luce — accessory

Name: GKI421P ceiling canopy mounting kit for GPL421 and GPL431 luminaires Gea Luce — accessory
Brand: Gea Luce

GKI421P is a Gea Luce mounting kit — a ceiling canopy for the GPL421 and GPL431 luminaires. It is not a lamp: the kit contains neither a luminaire nor a light source. What it is actually for The manufacturer describes this item as "KIT PLAFONE PER GPL421/GPL431" — the set of parts used to fix a GPL-family luminaire to the ceiling and cover the connection box. It is bought together with a GPL421 or GPL431 luminaire, not instead of one. If you are looking for a finished pendant lamp, this is not the item — look at the GPL series luminaires. When it is needed Gea Luce's linear and office luminaires in the GPL family are listed separately from their suspension parts, because the same body can be mounted in several ways. The canopy kit is the ceiling variant: it is what makes the luminaire hang below the slab and hides the supply cable. When ordering, confirm with the seller whether the chosen luminaire variant already includes such a kit. Data and limits The kit weighs 0.61 kg net (0.71 kg boxed) and is rated IP20, so it is for dry interiors only. The manufacturer files it under sospensioni e plafoniere da ufficio — office suspensions and ceiling lights. The electrical work should be carried out by a qualified person.
