When replacing the clutch, the release fork and release shaft should therefore always be checked. Only if they operate without play and without wear can the clutch be operated properly. The version offered here, in conjunction with the needle roller, only fits the early version of the release shaft. In this version, the shaft was supported in the fork by needle bearings. To install the needle bearings, the plastic bushings must be removed and the needle bearings pressed in. The later version uses only plastic bushings in the release fork to support the shaft. In addition, the shaft is supported at both ends by two needle bearings. The appropriate set for the newer design is available under#3358 .
