To avoid double assembly work, we recommend replacing these two gears in pairs. The right disc gear for the E15 can be a 15-K or be 17-K. It's best to count your teeth first! Dimensions: Diameter E15 = 6.90mm (15 teeth) Diameter 15-K = 15.4mm (15 teeth) Possible associated disc gears: 15-K or 17-K for comparison: Diameter E20 = 8.60mm (20 teeth) associated disc gear: 15-M = 17.6mm (15 teeth) Note: Either an E15 OR an E20 can be installed in the 964. Pull lightly. Friction is everything that keeps the needle on the shaft.
