Egersund 5066AL is a NORLYS bollard light, 108 cm tall and 20 cm in diameter, made of cast aluminium powder-coated in light grey RAL 9006. The head is a clear PMMA cylinder with a conical reflector inside that spreads light all the way round. The manufacturer designed it for gardens, private grounds and public areas – driveways, terraces and paths at hotels and restaurants. How much light, and what kind The 18 W Cree LED module produces 2655 lm, and 1782 lm leaves the luminaire at a total draw of 21.9 W – 81.4 lm/W and energy class C. 1782 lm is a main-lighting level rather than a marker light: the bollard lights the path and its surroundings instead of just tracing its line. 4000 K is neutral white, and CRI 80 renders the colours of plants and paving correctly. The distribution is rotationally symmetric, so the bollard does not need to face the path – it shines the same in every direction. About 9% of the flux (ULOR) goes into the upper hemisphere, which matters where a site operator limits light directed at the sky. DALI2 control and servicing The Osram driver runs on DALI2 with NightDim (4DIM) and is factory-set to maximum current. Brightness is set from a DALI controller, not an ordinary phase-cut dimmer; other settings, such as reducing output in the middle of the night, are programmed by the manufacturer by arrangement with its sales department. The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service – repair kit ZS5066ZX0011 exists for this luminaire. The manufacturer rates the module at over 102,000 h (L80) and the driver at 100,000 h. Installation and connection 108 cm is 33 cm more than the height of a dining table – a figure to compare with the plants meant to grow beside the bollard. The base is bolted down with three screws through ø9 mm holes set 120° apart on a ø65 mm circle; the 1230ZX0009 concrete anchor is sold separately. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 4 mm², including when looping through to further bollards, and the gland accepts round cable 8–17 mm in diameter. The manufacturer allows 18 luminaires per B10A circuit breaker and 28 per B16A.
