DOT recessed luminaire DL042-01-SQ-B Maytoni

Name: DOT recessed luminaire DL042-01-SQ-B Maytoni
Brand: Maytoni

Maytoni Dot DL042-01-SQ-B is a black recessed ceiling fitting designed for a plaster-finished installation. Its aluminium body has rectangular mounting wings and a square recess around a single GU10 light source. Once the surrounding ceiling is finished, the black recess remains visible rather than a broad frame sitting on the ceiling surface.Allow space for the fitting and lampThe body measures 112 × 90 × 42 mm. The height of the body is not the same as the space required above the ceiling: Maytoni specifies an installation depth of 120 mm with the lamp fitted. The cut-out measures 80 × 80 mm. Check all these dimensions against the proposed ceiling construction and any services passing above it before ordering. This installation needs to be considered during finishing work. The instructions show the perforated mounting wings being secured and the surrounding surface being finished afterwards. It is therefore not a direct substitute for a conventional recessed spotlight with a visible flange that is simply inserted into an already finished opening. The overall body dimensions and the cut-out dimensions serve different purposes.Choose the GU10 source separatelyThe lamp is not included. Select one GU10 source rated at no more than 10 W. That figure is the permitted lamp power, not a brightness rating. Light output, colour temperature and beam angle depend on the source you choose. When planning a row of fittings, matching those properties will keep the chosen lighting specification consistent. The movable insert allows the light direction to change; the manufacturer’s drawing shows a 30° tilt. Directional adjustment is not brightness adjustment. Maytoni lists this fitting as non-dimmable and specifies a 220–240 V AC, 50 Hz supply.A geometric detail within the ceilingThe square black recess and concealed mounting suit modern, modernist and minimalist interiors. The fitting can be planned as a lighting point in a living room, hallway, bedroom or other indoor areas. Whether one point provides enough light depends on the selected source and the wider lighting layout, rather than on the compact body dimensions alone.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
