Bismarck Linear Pendant - 5 light sources - Earth Black Elstead

Name: Bismarck Linear Pendant - 5 light sources - Earth Black Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Bismarck is a linear pendant from Quoizel, distributed by Elstead Lighting, made of five hexagonal steel frames joined in a single horizontal row. The frames are finished in Earth Black, and each one holds a gold-painted lampholder with the bulb on show and no shade. Size and suspension The light is 101.6 cm long, 33 cm high and only 6 cm deep — a flat band of light best compared with the length of your table or kitchen island. It hangs on two rods from a rectangular ceiling plate, and the overall height from the ceiling ranges from 42.6 to 129.5 cm. Rods are supplied: four of 152 mm and four of 305 mm. Both suspension rods are built from them to the length needed, so the height is set during installation. Over a table, the lower edge of the fitting usually sits 70–80 cm above the top. The light weighs 6.28 kg and is Class I, so it needs a protective earth connection. Bulbs and light There are five E27 lampholders for bulbs of up to 60 W each. No bulbs are included. With no shades, the bulbs are fully visible, so their shape and colour decide how the light looks when switched on. The maker suggests a separately sold clear Litec E27 A60 LED lamp: 8 W, 800 lm and 3000 K, which is warm white and as bright as an old 60 W bulb — five of them give about 4000 lm together. The pendant can be dimmed when fitted with bulbs marked as dimmable and connected to a suitable dimmer. Where to hang it The elongated shape suits a rectangular dining table or a kitchen island, where the light needs to cover the full length of the top. The maker describes Bismarck as a modern design: the open geometric frame in black contrasts with the gold lampholders. The fitting is for indoor use.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
