Allenbury 1 Light Medium Wall Lantern - Textured Black Elstead

Name: Allenbury 1 Light Medium Wall Lantern - Textured Black Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Allenbury is an outdoor wall light by Kichler, distributed by Elstead Lighting, in a textured black finish. A wide, round shade 30.5 cm across hangs from a gooseneck arm, and beneath it sits a clear seeded glass cup with visible air bubbles. The curved arm, the broad shade and the knurled lampholder cup give the fitting an industrial character. Size and mounting The fitting is 33.1 cm tall and projects 44.1 cm from the wall to the front edge of the shade. Compare that projection with the free space in front of the wall where you plan to mount it. It fixes to the wall with a round backplate 13.3 cm in diameter. The manufacturer offers separately sold corner brackets: C-BKT2-BROWN, C-BKT2-BLACK and C-BKT5-BLACK. They allow the light to be mounted on an external corner of a building where there is no flat section of wall in the chosen spot. Built for outdoor conditions Allenbury belongs to the Coastal Collection. The body is made from weather-resistant composite, aluminium and glass, and the manufacturer designed it to cope with rough, changeable weather. The IP44 rating means protection against splashing water from any direction, so the light can be mounted on a facade exposed to rain. In our catalogue it is listed for building facades and for exterior lighting at hotels and restaurants. It is a Class I fitting, so the supply cable must include a protective earth conductor connected to the earth terminal. Bulb and light The fitting has one E27 lampholder for a bulb of up to 40 W. No bulb is included. The glass under the shade is clear, so the bulb stays visible and its shape affects how the whole fitting looks. The opaque shade sends most of the light downwards, onto the wall below the fitting and the ground in front of it. The fitting works with dimmable lamps, so dimming needs a bulb marked as dimmable and a dimmer.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
