Albers Flush Ceiling Light - 1 Light - Black, Opal Glass Shade Elstead

Name: Albers Flush Ceiling Light - 1 Light - Black, Opal Glass Shade Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Albers is a flush ceiling light by Kichler, distributed in Europe by Elstead Lighting. A black steel collar sits tight against the ceiling, and below it hangs a tapered shade of shiny opal glass that widens towards the bottom. The whole fitting is 25.9 cm high and 21.6 cm in diameter. Size and installation The light fixes directly to the ceiling with no cable or drop, so it projects just under 26 cm from the ceiling to the lower edge of the shade. Compare that figure with your own ceiling height and with how close to the ceiling a wardrobe door or a door leaf swings. At 21.6 cm across, the fitting does not dominate the ceiling of a narrow hallway or dressing room, and the maker intends it both as a single light and in multiples along a row. The fitting weighs 1.56 kg and is for indoor use only. It is Class I, so it must be connected to the earth conductor in the ceiling box. It runs on standard 220–240 V mains voltage. What light it gives Inside is a single E27 lampholder for a bulb of up to 40 W. The bulb is not included, so you choose the brightness and colour of the light yourself. The 40 W limit matters with traditional incandescent bulbs; an LED replacement of similar brightness draws several times less. The opal glass diffuses the light, so the bulb itself stays out of sight and the shade glows evenly across its whole surface. The fitting is compatible with dimmable bulbs: with such a bulb and a dimmer in the circuit, the brightness can be adjusted. Where it fits The maker intends Albers for kitchens, hallways and dressing rooms, and it also suits a bedroom or dining room. The form is modern: a smooth glass cone and an unornamented black collar that stands out clearly against a light ceiling. The Albers series also offers a champagne bronze version with the same shade.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
