Brand: Tascam

A straightforward professional CD player for installation and PA hire, using the TEAC CD-5020A transport designed specifically for audio playback with a smooth drawer and low clamping noise. It reads audio CDs plus MP3 and WAV files from data discs, with folder navigation on the front panel. Where a more complex player's extra features would go unused, this covers the job at lower cost and with fewer ways for a user to get lost. 2U Rack height CD-5020A TEAC transport MP3 + WAV File playback Pitch Control with on/off Chosen for what it does not doIn hire stock and community venues the failure mode is usually a user pressing the wrong thing. The CD-200's limited, clearly laid-out feature set, playback modes that prevent common mistakes and lockable simplicity are the reason it stays specified over players with far longer feature lists.
