Ring Centric is a set of three lit rings hung one below the other on a shared axis: Ø 120 cm at the top, then 100 cm and 80 cm. Each ring is a narrow profile of 1.3 × 3.3 cm cross-section with an LED band running all the way round, finished in brushed black. The rings hang on thin cables from a single canopy. How large it is and how high it hangs The largest ring is 120 cm across — comparable to the width of a dining table for eight, so the fitting suits a large tabletop or an open space rather than a small room. The profile itself stays very slim: 1.3 cm wide and 3.3 cm high, so from the side there is little to see but the line of light. The suspension is 500 cm and can be shortened, which puts the fitting within reach of rooms with real ceiling height — a gallery, a hall, or a space open across two floors. Above a table the lowest ring usually sits 70–80 cm over the top; the two upper rings then work higher, in the eyeline of someone standing. How much light it gives and how it is controlled The three rings draw 132 W between them. In LED terms that is main-lighting scale for a large interior — this fitting is not a supplement to other light but the basis of it. 3000 K is warm white, and a colour rendering index above Ra 95 is among the highest in the catalogue: wood, fabric and food keep their colour under it almost as they do in daylight. The fitting dims, but it needs a leading- or trailing-edge dimmer — an ordinary halogen dimmer will not work correctly with it. The LED modules are permanently built in and cannot be replaced; the manufacturer quotes 25,000 operating hours, about 22 years at three hours a day, and 15,000 switching cycles. Build and installation The rings combine metal with plastic; the surface is brushed, in black. The fitting runs on 230 V and belongs to protection class I, so an earth conductor is needed for connection. The IP20 rating settles installation in dry interiors only. The energy efficiency class is F, and the fitting is registered in the EU EPREL database under number 1004208.
