Ultisil Fluorinated Phase has high selectivity and increased retention toward closely related compounds, including both aromatic fluorinated compounds and other nonaromatic halogenated compounds. It can be used in reversed phase and provides an alternative and complementary separation to that performed on C8 or C18 columns for many analytes. Fluorinated phase has better separation for ionic and polar compounds than do alkyl phases.
