This is the LUMINES MET SLT metal mounting clip (article 13-0000-02) — the part an aluminium LED profile sits on. The manufacturer assigns it to the SILEDA and DILEDA profiles. How it works The clip is stamped and folded from sheet steel in a silver finish. It is U-shaped with sprung side walls and a single central fixing hole in the base. Installation goes like this: screw the clips to the wall, ceiling or other substrate — one screw each — then press the profile in from above until it snaps between the walls. The spring in the metal holds the profile but still lets you pull it off when you need to reach the LED strip or change the cover. It is not a permanent joint. Compared with screwing through the profile, this has two practical advantages: no holes have to be drilled in the visible face of the profile, and the clips themselves stay hidden underneath it once it is snapped on. How many to order The clip is sold individually. The number follows the length being installed: put support points near both ends of the profile and at regular intervals between them, so the profile does not sag or twist in between. For the standard LUMINES lengths (1 m, 2.02 m, 3 m) that means several clips per section — worth counting when you order the profile, because one missing clip stops the installation. Which profiles it fits The LUMINES catalogue card assigns the MET SLT clip to the SILEDA and DILEDA systems. The manufacturer's own shop lists the same article against SLIMO and FIXO as well — if you are installing one of those two, confirm the fit before ordering in quantity. Clips for LUMINES profiles are not universal: each profile type has its own clip article (13-0110-02 for profile A, 13-0120-02 for C and H, 13-0140-02 for D, and so on), so they are always chosen for a specific profile rather than by eye. What is not included This is a fixing part only. The profile, cover, end caps, LED strip, driver and screws are all separate items — a complete installation is profile + cover + two end caps + a set of clips + strip + power supply. Screws are chosen to suit the substrate (a plug in concrete, a plasterboard fixing, a wood screw), which is why the manufacturer does not supply them.
