HANOK is a family of fittings from the Spanish brand Mantra, designed by David Villalba. This model – reference 7952 – is a slim ceiling bar: 40.6 cm long, 4.7 cm wide and 6.8 cm high, in a black finish. A wide 110° spread, not a spot Despite the linear form this is not an accent fitting. The 110° angle spreads the light broadly, so a 40 cm bar lights an area considerably larger than its own length. That is the point of the shape: even light from one narrow body that takes up as little of the ceiling – or the underside of a cabinet – as possible. 1000 lm at CRI 90 The LED module gives 1000 lm from 14 W at a neutral 4000 K. What matters here is CRI 90 – high colour rendering, uncommon in fittings this size. It counts wherever colours are judged: over a kitchen worktop, in a wardrobe, above a mirror or at a work station. Neutral 4000 K is matter-of-fact light rather than cosy – for a bedroom some people will prefer a warmer colour. The LED module is not replaceable The manufacturer states plainly that the source is not replaceable – there is no bulb and no module to pull out. Rated life is 50,000 hours and 30,000 on/off cycles, which is many years at ordinary use, but at the end of it the whole fitting is replaced. The fitting is not dimmable. Mounting Supply 220–240 V ~50/60 Hz, surface-mounted to a ceiling (or under a cabinet). Protection class II is a practical advantage: the fitting is double-insulated and needs no protective earth, which helps in older installations without one. IP20 – dry interiors, not a bathroom splash zone. Aluminium and steel body, 0.87 kg. Five-year warranty.
