Lillehammer 2284WH is a NORLYS outdoor wall light shaped as a cuboid measuring 18.5 × 11 × 8 cm. The body is cast aluminium painted white, and clear glass closes the light outlet. The LED module is built in permanently and comes with the fitting — there is no bulb to buy or replace. How big it is and how it mounts The body stands 18.5 cm tall and 8 cm off the wall, so on a façade it takes a strip narrower than a brick — beside a front door or along a fence it is out of anyone's way. At 1.6 kg the fitting screws straight onto render, concrete or timber. It is fixed through two ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm. The supply cable enters through an EPDM gland, and a silicone gasket sits under the glass. Output is dimmed on a DALI2 installation — that needs a controller working to the standard, which lets a whole run of fittings along a façade be dimmed with one command. How much light Lillehammer 2284WH gives The fitting puts out 15 lm at 4.5 W in a narrow 4-degree beam aimed strictly downwards. This is marker light: it draws a narrow band on the façade below the fitting and traces the line of a wall, steps or a driveway, rather than washing a surface the way a floodlight would. 4000 K is neutral white — cooler than a filament lamp and easy to read against pale render or stone. The upward light output ratio is 0%, so the whole flux goes below the fitting; the manufacturer lists this series as dark-sky friendly. A colour rendering index of Ra 80 and SDCM3 colour consistency keep neighbouring fittings in a run at the same tone, and the stated life is 52,330 hours. Where it works and what it suits The manufacturer intends Lillehammer for outdoor and garden use. An IP65 rating allows mounting with no shelter above it, even where jets of water reach it, and IK08 impact resistance covers places exposed to knocks — by a gate, along a driveway, or on a garage wall. The form is Scandinavian: a closed white body with no ornament, no visible screws and no diffuser standing proud of the outline.
