This is a circle, not a straight length of track. TRX154-R-D800-B is a closed ring 80 cm in diameter — a component of Maytoni's FLARITY magnetic system. The black anodised aluminium profile is only 15 mm tall, with a continuous channel running along its inner face where the fittings hold.How a magnetic track worksIn a classic track system you clip the fitting in and twist it. Here the fitting holds to the channel by magnet and takes its supply at the same moment — no screws, no clips, no fixed positions. A spot, a pendant or a linear module can be slid anywhere around the circumference, including years later when the furniture beneath it changes. The whole ring runs at a safe 24 V DC, so moving fittings never means touching mains voltage.What else you needThe track itself does not light and contains no electronics. To run the system you also need, separately: a driver converting 230 V to 24 V, a mounting element with a power inlet (Maytoni offers ceiling bases, wall mounts and cable suspensions in the Flarity series), and the fittings themselves. The track is not dimmable in itself — brightness control, if wanted, depends on the fittings chosen and their controller.InstallationThe manufacturer allows two methods: surface-mounted, with the ring sitting directly against the ceiling, and pendant, on cables — which with a circular form gives the effect of a lit hoop floating over a table or a kitchen island. Eighty centimetres of diameter suits a table for four to six, or a standard island.BuildThe construction is aluminium throughout, in black. Protection class III (safety extra-low voltage), rating IP20 — dry interiors only. Net weight 2.1 kg, gross 2.7 kg.
