It is mounted on the shaft offered here. If the shaft is worn or damaged, the clutch play can no longer be adjusted correctly because the clutch is not actuated precisely. Stiff clutch actuation can also be a symptom of a worn shaft. It is therefore advisable to check the release shaft when replacing the clutch and replace it if necessary.
