Direzza is a garden spotlight in a silver-grey housing, mounted on a ground spike. The cylindrical head sits on a joint and the cable leaves through its back. How it is positioned The base is neither an anchor nor a plate but a pointed spike — the fitting is pushed into the soil in a bed, in the lawn or beside a path, with no foundation and nothing to drill. Moving it means pulling the spike out and pushing it in somewhere else. The whole fitting is 38 cm tall, part of which disappears below ground, and the head is 6.5 cm across. Loosening the screw on the joint lets the head tilt through up to 90°, from pointing straight up to pointing horizontally — the same movement that re-aims the beam once a shrub has grown. What lamp it needs The fitting takes a GU10 lamp and is rated for LED sources up to 8 W only. No lamp is supplied, so you choose the colour temperature and the output yourself — and the 8 W limit has to be respected, because it is the ceiling for this version of the fitting rather than the power of an included source. It runs on ordinary 230 V mains from the house installation, with no separate driver. Dimming is possible but needs a lamp marked as dimmable together with a dimmer — the fitting itself regulates nothing. Where it can stand An IP54 rating means protection against dust and against splashing water from any direction, and the manufacturer intends the fitting to stay outdoors all year. It does not have to be brought in for the winter. The directional beam suits picking out single objects: a tree, ornamental grasses, a shrub, a facade detail, or the surroundings of a terrace and the paths up to it.
