This column Set is made from All-PEEK. Graphite is added to the material prior to extrusion to obtain the black color of the 1/2-inch (12.70 mm) OD column tubing that is not treated with chemicals. The black color helps extend the life of the columns' external appearance. The thread on this column is 1/2 - 20 and the "smooth" mirror-like interior surface of the column body is achieved through a very careful, proprietary extrusion process.
