The analog clock with green numerals and a silver ring was designed for later 356 models, but also fits earlier dashboards with clocks with a diameter of 60 mm. Please note the different grounding depending on the dashboard material. This is a bulb with two terminals for fiberglass dashboards, which is wired to the switched 12V source for instrument lighting on one side and grounded on the other. For metal dashboards, bulbs with a single terminal were used, as they are grounded directly through the dashboard. For 6V applications, an additional voltage converter must be installed.
