With the ALL-MC116VDSL2 modem ALLNET introduces a pure VDSL2 single port bridge to the market, which fulfills the basic requirement of a perfomant point to point connection via 2 wire connection - typically a telephone connection - with all advantages of a VDSL2 connection. The modem has RJ11 jacks as well as terminal jacks for the pure wire connection. The additional possibility to ground the devices (with the ALL95100 lightning protection) brings the necessary protection against lightning strikes in the application area. Two Gigabit ports connect the modem to the network. In the new ALL-MC116VDSL2 is now also an optional Gigabit SFP slot available to expand the communication with copper or Fibre GBIC modules if necessary. The ALL-MC116VDSL2 can be configured quickly and easily as either a master or slave modem via the DIP switch. On the front of the device there are numerous LEDs for visual signaling of the operating states and connections.
