OZU K is a wall light built from a square 60 x 60 mm profile, 20 cm tall, made of lacquered steel in a black textured finish. It lights upwards and downwards at once — from the two open ends of the profile — using two GU10 sources of up to 10 W each. Two beams and the wall between them The up/down construction is the whole idea. Instead of a single patch of light you get two spreading cones that sweep the wall above and below the fitting. The effect depends on the surface: on smooth white plaster it draws two clean symmetrical arcs; on textured render, brick or board-marked concrete it lifts the texture and builds shadow. That is why fittings like this are hung rhythmically along a corridor or in pairs beside a bed, rather than singly in the middle of a wall. The manufacturer describes the light as diffused rather than directional — this is not a spotlight for picking out a picture, it is an element that builds the background. Two GU10 sockets — you choose the lamps The fitting runs two GU10 sockets on ~220–230 V mains. Maximum power per source is 10 W, so up to 20 W for the whole fitting. Bulbs are not supplied, but they are fully replaceable — an advantage over fittings with the LED bonded in permanently: you choose the colour and the beam angle yourself, and years later you replace the lamp, not the wall light. On an up/down fitting it is worth choosing wider-beam lamps (36° and up): a narrow 24° spot will put two hard circles on the wall instead of soft arcs. 2700–3000 K suits a bedroom or hallway; 4000 K works beside a mirror or in a working area.
