VERSA is a wall spotlight on a gooseneck arm 42 cm long and 3 cm across, finished in matt nickel. The built-in LED delivers 240 lm from 3 W at 3000 K, in a narrow 40° beam. The flexible arm is the whole lamp A gooseneck holds any position you give it, so the light points exactly where it is needed at that moment and stays there until you move it again. That sets VERSA apart from a jointed wall light with a few fixed positions, and from a fixed fitting that always aims at one spot. In practice that means one lamp doing several jobs from the same point on the wall: above a bed — aimed at a book in the evening and turned to the wall when only a background glow is wanted; above a desk — pointed at the work surface without occupying it; beside an armchair — aimed at a piece of work or a newspaper. The narrow beam and modest output are deliberate 240 lm sounds modest and is — but in a 40° beam that quantity is enough to read by without lighting the whole room. The person next to you can sleep or watch a film.
