Belluna is a five-light dining pendant: five clear glass shades hang on black textile cables from a black rectangular canopy 160 cm long, arranged in two rows. The shades come in two sizes — three smaller and two larger — and each holds an opal, bell-shaped inner element. Which table, and which ceiling The canopy measures 160 × 25 cm, so the fitting covers almost the whole top of a typical six-seat table and needs one ceiling outlet within that line. The two-row layout takes the shades off a single axis — the light spreads across the width of the table rather than only along its centre. The cables are 150 cm long and can be shortened; the manufacturer intends the fitting for rooms up to around 300 cm high. Over a table the drop is usually set so the lower rim of the shades sits 70–80 cm above the top. The shades are 14 and 24 cm across, standing 35 and 45 cm tall respectively including the suspension. What light it gives Inside each glass shade sits an opal inner shade that covers the source itself — from the table you do not see a glowing point, and what passes through the clear outer glass is diffused, soft light. No lamps are supplied. The manufacturer lists E14 and E27 holders and a maximum lamp power of 40 W, so it is worth checking which cap sits in which shade before buying. The fitting dims, but only with lamps marked as dimmable and a suitable dimmer — it has no control gear of its own. Build The shades are mouth-blown, so every piece differs from the others in small details — a property of the technique rather than a fault. This version has clear glass; the same lamp is also made in smoke, brown and multicoloured. Canopy and suspensions are metal in black.
