LUMINESDesign+ akin is a recessed aluminium LED profile for plasterboard construction. This Light Ivory version is lacquered in RAL 1015 and supplied as a 2 m length. Its deeper LED-strip position helps create an even, visually continuous line of light.Installation and system The profile belongs to the akin system and is intended for recessed installation followed by plaster finishing. The power supply sits outside the profile. Light is directed perpendicular to the profile plane; the manufacturer lists both decorative and main lighting applications.Project components MIDI covers fitted from above and compatible end caps are intended for this profile. The cover, LED strip, end caps and installation elements are selected separately for the project. Joinable lengths make it suitable for longer continuous lighting runs.Where it fits The rectangular profile suits contemporary plasterboard ceilings and walls, kitchen joinery, corridors and architectural details where the light should merge with the surface.
