CINDY VI is a pendant lamp from the Czech brand Rendl – a single round ceiling rose 14 cm across, from which six separate cords descend, each ending in an E27 lampholder. Six points from one outlet The whole fitting connects to one ceiling outlet yet gives six independent light sources. The Roman "VI" in the name is the number of holders. The rose is small and compact – only 14 cm – so it does not clutter the ceiling; the composition comes entirely from how you arrange the drops. Hang the cords where you like The manufacturer designed this fitting so that each cord is attached to the ceiling individually and freely. They need not hang vertically from the rose: you can run them across the ceiling and drop them at six different points – in a line over a table, in two rows over a kitchen island, at staggered heights in a stairwell. Each cord is 2 metres long, which leaves real slack for that kind of routing, and for trimming. 15 W maximum per holder The threads are standard E27, but the limit is 15 W per lamp – meaning LED only. Do not fit a classic 60 W incandescent. In practice that is no constraint: six 8–10 W LED bulbs together give on the order of 5,000–6,000 lm, which is full lighting for a large room. The light sources are not included – Rendl recommends its G12246 for this fitting. The bulb is part of the design The holders are bare, with no shades, so the bulbs themselves are on view. That is deliberate: with a fitting like this, the lamp you choose decides how it looks. Decorative LED filament bulbs in clear or smoked glass give a loft effect; matt globes give something softer and more contemporary. The set can be dimmed, provided you fit dimmable lamps and a matching dimmer.
